北京工业大学综合教学楼区No.4 Teaching Complex of Beijing University of Technology

第四教学楼组团是已基本成型的北京工业大学校园中最后一个大规模建设项目。相较由主校门、行政主楼、图书馆构成的传统校园轴线，我们希望这组新的教学组团能和体育馆遥相呼应，构成一个展现活力的开放性的场所。

设计一方面在庞大的教学体量中提供更多的功能空间，另一方面也希望在高密度的前提下建立起街道、平台、广场等一套公共空间的体系，融入到校园的整体环境中，并通过不同学科的集中，形成各专业的相互交流和碰撞，其高效复合的状态可以被称为“校园综合体”。

设于首层的大型实验室屋顶通过连桥成为连续的平台，面向校园主要空间的大台阶则让平台更具公共性，艺术教学工作室如聚落般置于其上，以区别于其他教学体量的材料和色彩，吸引工科学生前来感受艺术的氛围。结合室外疏散梯楼梯增设的平台和绿化墙，则在竖向上为建筑增添了一抹绿意。

As the last large-scale teaching building, the project is considered to be a “campus complex”, which contains public teaching units, technology colleges, labs and a new-founded art college and activate campus life with its openness. In the context of high-density, the large mass provide a platform consisted by the roofs of large-scale labs. Facing the main sports ground and other public space of the campus, the grand stairs attract students to enter the dramatic outdoor space system made up by alleys, bridges and small cottages used as artist studios. A place for different disciplines to communicate emerges here. The vertical planted walls enveloping the outside stairs give the building a sense of greening.
