丰泽园饭店Feng Ze Yuan Hotel

丰泽园饭店坐落于前门近旁，周边店面集簇，街道狭窄。设计既要与传统街区协调，又要提高建筑的环境质量。因而采用阶梯式体形，如一组小体量建筑的叠加，保持了与其他建筑沿街高度的一致。明确的中轴线为层层跌落的体形建立了秩序感和层次感。

This hotel is located in the commercial quarter outside of Qianmen, where many small stores are crowded together along narrow streets. By stepping back as a composition of several smaller volumes, the building reduces its height along the street. The symmetrical spatial layout achieves the order and sequence for the building under such a scattered massing strategy.
